Troy Tech’s 8th Grade Visit Opportunities have concluded. We are evaluating January tests. If you would like to stop by Troy, review our calendar of athletic and after school events. After 3:30 pm daily, our campus is open to visitors.
Troy Tech/IB/Cambridge/Honors Testing for Current 8th grade students was on January 10, 17, and 24, 2026.
- All applicants will be reviewed for acceptance into Troy Tech, International Baccalaureate, Cambridge, and Honors placement at Troy High School. Information regarding program commitment will be discussed at registration March 2026.
- To learn about the results of the Troy Entrance Test: You will receive a notification email before March 1, 2026. Acceptance emails will include March registration time and instructions. Please hold questions until registration where Troy’s administrators and counselors will be available.
IF YOU ARE AN 8th GRADE STUDENT THAT MISSED THE JANUARY TESTING for 2026-2027 school year applicants for Troy Tech, IB, Cambridge, or Honors, Troy's administrators will work on enrollment in the upcoming months. We do not know if there is room to consider additional applicants. Complete THIS FORM to indicate that you would like to be contacted if additional applicant opportunities occur after April 10, 2026.
General Troy High School Enrollment:
- Troy is available to families residing within FJUHSD who complete open enrollment by the January 30th 3pm deadline. Open enrollment details are here.
- Troy is a local public school. Attendance at Troy is available by moving into Troy's attendance area shown on the map and on the address lookup page.
- 9th grade students that attend Troy and earn all A's and B's are invited to join the 4-year Troy Tech Program in 10th grade.

Ready for college: 4,200 AP Exams with 97% Pass Rate May 2025. #3 Best Public High School in California 2025, Niche. 96% of Troy's students attend colleges and universities. 79% Class of 2025 met the entrance requirements for California 4-year public universities. 76% of Troy applicants were accepted to a UC campus UC Acceptances.
Troy Tech Pathways:
- Media - Troy Productions, Omnia daily broadcast, Oracle newspaper, Illium yearbook. All American HS Film Festival NY, OC Artist of the Year. IB and Cambridge.
- Business - IB and Cambridge business pathway options. FBLA is incorporated into the pathway. Troy FBLA competes at both State and National conferences annually.
- Computer Science - AP, IB and Cambridge exams qualify for college credit. College Board #1 CS program in the world and AP Computer Science Female Diversity Award for expanding young women’s access to AP Computer Science Principles (CSP) 2018 and 2022. Programming contests, clubs and competitive Esports.
- Cyber Defense - Largest competitive program in the U.S. 5-time National Champions (2024, 2023, 2021, 2019, 2018); 4 All-Americans including the first female All-American in the nation (2020 Charissa Kim). 2016 and 2023 CyberPatriot Coach of the Year. Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) Networking/Cybersecurity and CompTIA Security+ certifications. Annual Troy's Cyber Defense Summer Camp includes Grades K-8.
- Engineering - SolidWorks CSWA certification, IB and Cambridge. FIRST Robotics Team participated in national build competition.
- Governmental Leadership - Distinguished Unit of over 400 cadets with Academic Honors; National Champions in NJROTC Academics, Athletics, and Drill competitions, CyberPatriot All-Service Division, All-Service Aerial Drone Competition. Top NJROTC at VEX Robotics and only NJROTC Team to compete at Drone soccer. Annual appointments to Academies and multiple Navy scholarships.
Senior Internships - Students complete the program with a 150-hour experience at a business site or university with a professional mentor. In-person and virtual options.
