General Exam Registration Information

A student registers during the fall Cambridge registration window for the Cambridge exams they will take at the end of that academic year. As with AP and IB exams, the registration process takes place online.

Who Can Register

Any student who is completing a Cambridge two-course sequence is eligible to take the A Level exam in that subject. To test, the student does not need to be a Cambridge AICE Diploma candidate. AICE students may also register for any AS exam necessary, if they are completing that AS course.

Why Register

A student who passes an A Level exam with a strong score can potentially earn college credit. (Like AP and IB exams, the exact credit issued varies by campus.) Additionally, passing an A Level with a strong score is uniquely impressive, and for Diploma candidates, the AICE is an outstanding achievement.

Registration Dates for 2025-26 Exams

Regular registration for Troy High School’s 2026 Cambridge exams opens on Monday, October 13 and closes on Friday, October 24. Late registration runs through Tuesday, October 28. Late registrations will incur a $20 fee. Exam requests after October 28, or those not paid by then, will not be ordered.

How to Register

Registration will occur exclusively online through regismart.net. Starting October 13, the student (or a parent/guardian) can visit that site, create an account, and select and pay for their exams. Payment should be made online via debit or credit card. If there are questions about registration or eligibility for exams, please check the notes on the item in regismart.net.

Exam Dates

2026 Cambridge exams occur from April 30 - June 12. Cambridge releases the exact exam schedule in late October. Note that Cambridge does not offer makeup exams, so any conflicting obligations, including those in the first two weeks of summer (after graduation) should be rescheduled. A missed exam invalidates your entry.

Students requesting an exam fee waiver must complete the Fee Waiver Request Form. Once eligibility is verified, they will receive instructions for finishing the online exam registration process.
